Description
Josiah Walters was commissioned to compose this special fanfare for brass ensemble for the first anniversary of ‘Creative Scotland’. It was performed by a brass ensemble from The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland at The Scottish Parliament to open the celebratory reception.
It was received by the many arts-related guests at the event with huge enthusiasm. Comments indicated their enjoyment of the fresh and creative writing approach which was used to produce a piece befitting to the grandeur of the celebration.
A great concert opening feature for an ensemble or a group of players from within a full band.
